The Chesapeake Camp & Conference Center
was founded in 1898 as a place for a ten day annual
encampment for the purpose of studying God’s
word, the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in
all its fullness, and a place where Christians of all
ages could find fellowship and relaxation. This
ministry has greatly expanded throughout the over
one hundred years of the camp’s existence. As the
camp grows, it remains in perpetuity, a location
where God is remembered in all things and His gift
of this facility remains unsullied by the world.

Welcome Letter from Executive Director
The Chesapeake Camp & Conference Center has
been shining the light of hope through salvation well
over 100 years. Started in 1898, these grounds,
dedicated to the Glory of God, have provided
opportunities for children, teens, young adults
and families to worship, fellowship, recreate
and rest. Each year the Chesapeake District of the
Wesleyan church have a camping season for
children, teens and families.
Serving Caroline
In addition to the Wesleyan church usage, these hallowed grounds offer churches, religious organizations, civic groups and family gatherings to use these facilities for their enrichment. Our grounds, buildings and programs are available for rental all through the year. As you preview this website you will see and read about the grounds and buildings that are available.
